Had Enough Yet?

Alright Montana, a question. Haven't we all seen enough of Conrad "I'll only serve two terms" Burns already? Yeah, I thought so. Conrad is running for his fourth term by the way. It's time to send this guy home where he belongs, where he can't cause any more mischief. We've got a guy named Jon Tester running as his Democratic opponent in the November election. Tester may be a bit of an unknown, at least here in the western part of the state, but we need to give him a chance. We need to fire Conrad Burns.

No, Jon Tester isn't going to ride into D.C. on a white horse and clean up the mess. That's asking too much of anybody. But we need change in this country, and we need it now. We need to uproot a corrupt, corporatist regime and replace it with folks who will listen to us and work on programs and policies that will take us in the right direction. Most of all we need to work with the tools we have available right now. We need to start with what we've got. That means guys like Jon Tester. So Montana, check out the Tester campaign at www.testerforsenate.com and get involved. Let's get him elected and then we can work on steering him in the right direction. You know the routine -- We hired you. Now do the job we expect you to do.

Those of you in other states need to do the same. Find out about the campaigns wherever you are and get involved. Make noise. Be a pest. Do what it takes to get new blood elected. Then watch them to make sure they do the right thing. There's no noticeable opposition party in America right now. There's only the two wings of a single corporatist party. It's up to us to wake up, become citizens again, and build one.
